The Battle Over Climate Change Policies

Dr. Michael Mann is a featured speaker at George Mason University’s Arlington campus next week.

Dr. Michael Mann, author of The Hockey Stick and The Climate Wars: Dispatches From the Front Lines will speak at George Mason University’s Arlington campus next week.

Mann is a member of the Penn State University faculty, holding joint positions in the Departments of Meteorology and Geosciences, and the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute (ESSI). He is also director of the Penn State Earth System Science Center (ESSC).

He was a Lead Author on the “Observed Climate Variability and Change” chapter of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Third Scientific Assessment Report and in 2007 shared the Nobel Peace Prize with other IPCC authors.
